1^st Try-Out/Practice

• Date: Monday, August 27^th
• Time: 3:15pm – 4:45pm
• Location: Hamburg High School Grass Field

Try-Out/Practice Dates & Times

• August 27^th – August 31^st from 3:15pm – 4:45pm (Roster will be finalized on August 29^th)
• September 6^th & 7^th from 3:15pm – 4:45pm
• September 10^th – 14^th from 3:15pm – 4:45pm
• September 17^th – 19^th from 3:15pm – 4:45pm
• First Match is on September 20^th (Schedule TBA)

NYSPHSAA – New York Public High School Athletic Association requires 11 practices for eligibility in competition. All players are strongly encouraged to attend all try-outs/practices. 15 try-outs/practices in total are being held & should be considered mandatory.

*Roster will be finalized after practice on August 29^th as decided by the Coach Chieffo*

**Parent meeting will be held on Friday, September 7^thAFTER PRACTICE**

Hamburg Student Athlete Participation Requirements

• Register on FamilyID website
• Current physical. If the physical is not on file please fax a copy to Mr. Cauley, Director of Athletics, 646-3345
• If the above two requirements are not completed, the student will not be allowed to participate

Equipment

• T-shirt, athletic shorts, shin guards, soccer cleats, & sneakers for track
• Full water bottle
• The school will provide all other soccer equipment

Player Evaluation

• 8 minute mile
• Physical readiness to participate in a contact sport
• General soccer skills, ex. kicking, passing, heading
• General athletic skills: running, agility, coordination
• Team attitude, strong work ethic, coach-ability, disciplined
• Behavior in school & academics
• Pride & respect in representing Hamburg Bulldogs
