CHANGES FOR CURBSIDE SCHOOL MEAL PICK- UP AS OF MAY 20

Eligibility for the district’s remote school meal program will change on Thursday, May 20 due to the return of Hamburg Middle School and High School students to full in-person learning. As of that date, only Cohort D (fully remote) students and families who live in the district who homeschool or have young children not of school age are eligible for curbside pick up meals.

Free breakfast and lunch are offered daily in-school for all other students attending in-person.

Parents/guardians of Cohort D students will continue to receive an email from the district on Thursdays with a link to sign up for the following Wednesday pick up. The Middle School will continue as the only curbside pick up site, from 3-5 p.m. Wednesdays. Please do not arrive early, due to student dismissal and the need for busses to safely depart before distribution begins. Anyone picking up meals will be checked for eligibility.

COVID-19 RETURN TO SCHOOL FORM

If a child is sent home from school with COVID-19 symptoms (fever, cough, shortness of breath, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, muscle or body aches), the nurse will give the parent/guardian a form (Notice to Parents Regarding Return to School) that indicates the protocol that must be followed to return to school. The parent/guardian will be responsible for attesting that the protocol is followed by signing the form and returning it with a note from a healthcare provider, prior to the child's return to school.
