  • Test Drive a Car This Saturday and Earn Money for AOF

    The Academy of Finance and Robert Basil have teamed up to raise money in support of AOF. The more people who test drive a Buick, the more money we will raise! Join us at HHS this Saturday (October 22) from 9am - 2pm. Drivers must be 21 years or age or older with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.

  • What Parents NEED TO KNOW about Social Media

    Please join us on November 9th at 6:30pm in the Hamburg High School cafeteria for an in-depth look at Social Media use among children of all ages. Sponsored by the Parent-Child Connection, this presentation will cover the most frequently used sites, how children use the sites, and tips for parents to keep them safe.   • Free/Reduced Lunch Applications Due

    Applications must be re-submitted every year to maintain Free/Reduced Lunch status. If you qualified last year, but have not filled out the form, your child will begin paying full price for lunches this week.

  • Monday, 10/17

    • A representative from SUNY Geneseo will be in the Counseling Center today (10/17) at 11:30 a.m.   A representative from Xavier University will be in the LMC on Tuesday, 10/18 at 11:30.  If you are interested, please obtain a pass from the Counseling Center.
    • Class ring orders will be on Wednesday (10/19) and Thursday (10/20) from 10:30 to 1:00 outside the Cafeteria.  There will be a special parent/student ordering night on Wednesday (10/19) from 4:30 to 7:00 p.m.  A $50.00 deposit payable to JOSTENS is required.  Any student that did not receive ring information may pick up a packet from your class advisor or the Main Office.
    • The next Drama Club meeting will be Wednesday (10/19) after school in Room 245.  Field trip to the Kavinoky Theater permission forms will be given out.  Also, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for a stage combat workshop.  New members are welcome.
    • The next Chess Club meeting will be held in Room 143 on Wednesday (10/19) at 2:30 p.m.
    • There will be a Character Club meeting Wednesday (10/19) morning at 7:00 a.m. in the Senior Lounge.  ALL INVITED!
    • Film Club will be holding a meeting this Tuesday, October 18th in the LMC at 2:30 p.m.  Feel free to come.
    • Yearbook Staff:  Please plan on bringing your Homecoming photos our meeting today (10/17).  Senior Portraits are due TODAY!
    • Late Bus pickup is being moved to the Division Street Parking Lot starting today (10/17).
    • This year's Reflection program theme is:  What is Your Story?  Tell your story through dance, a short film, a poem or story, an original song, a photo or visual work of art.  Pick up a PTA Reflections Entry Form today from the Main Office and return by November 7th.
    • Make it PURPLE & WHITE DAY and make it end!  What are your true colors when it comes to bullying?  If you care about safe and supportive schools and communities, wear purple and white on UNITY DAY this Wednesday (10/19).  This day we come together with individuals across the nation and send one large message of support, hope, and unity to show that we are together against bullying and united for kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
    • The Meridia Credit Union is now open during all lunch periods!  Come check it out!

    • Attention Donate Life Members there will be a meeting on October 24th in Room 123.
    • Monday, October 24th will be Picture Retake Day.  If you would like to have your pictures redone, you should bring your old ones with you. If you didn't have your picture taken yet, there will be forms available when you go, or you can pick one up in the Assistant Principals' Office ahead of time.
    • Join us in Room 219 on Monday (10/24) from 2:30-4 pm for a DAWGS October Get Together!  We'll be playing games and making delicious snacks!  Hope to see you then!
    • Attention Skiers and Snowboarders:  This Thursday is the last day to turn in your Ski Club Registration.  See Mr. Chaffee with any questions.
    • A representative from D'Youville College School of Pharmacy will be in the Counseling Center on Thursday (10/20).  If you are interested, please obtain a pass from the Counseling Center.
    • Senior Class apparel order forms are due by Monday (10/24) to Mrs. Morris.  Extra forms are on the webpage for the high school and in the office.  Samples are available to look at and try on in Room 122 with Mrs. Morris. 
    • Remember to sign up for Winter Sports on line at
    • Save 3 lives and give blood on Friday (10/28) in the LMC.  Sign up is in the Front Foyer.  If you are 16 yrs old, you may give blood with parents' permission.  Permission slips are on the table when you sign up.  VERY IMPORTANT:  If you already signed up, you must sign up again on the new appointment list.

Who We Are

Hamburg High School is a comprehensive High School located in the Village of Hamburg, New York; a suburb south of Buffalo. The school offers an exciting variety of courses and activities to help prepare 1200 students in grades 9 -12 for post secondary education and/or future careers. The instructional program is designed to encourage students to achieve at the highest level possible, with emphasis on Regent and Advanced Placement courses. The Advance Placement program is extensive with offerings of 14 AP courses. A Learning Center, Library Media Center, and Computer labs, are available to all students to assist in the achievement of individual academic goals.
