FRIDAY, MAY 31

Depart Hamburg early this morning for Sandusky, Ohio. Meal/rest stops will be coordinated between the chaperones and the bus driver. Upon arrival, you’ll go to Cedar Point, the 364-acre amusement park located on the shores of Lake Erie. Your full-day admission ticket will give you unlimited access to all of the rides, including the amusement park’s newest roller coaster water ride, Shoot the Rapids. During your 2,100-foot long journey, you’ll travel encounter water elements and special affects. You can also ride The Maverick. You’ll travel to the top of a 105-foot-tall first hill. From there, it's not straight down – it's more than straight down! Maverick will then take its passengers down to Earth at an astonishing 95-degree angle at speeds of up to 57 mph to within five feet above the ground! From there, the train will hug the terrain as it twists and banks around hairpin turns with quick but smooth changes in direction. You’ll also be able to ride the Top Thrill Dragster, a coaster of epic proportions, with an extraordinary 420-foot tall first hill at a 90-degree incline, speeds of 120-mph over 2,800 feet of track, and a twisting first drop of 400 feet at an imposing 90-degree angle. Don’t forget the Millennium Force. With a first drop of 300 feet at an extraordinary 80-degree angle, and speeds of up to 92 mph, Millennium Force is for the extreme roller coaster enthusiast! Lunch and dinner (both at individual’s expense) at the park. This evening, depart the park for Hamburg. Late evening arrival at the school.

PROGRAM FEE:    $89 /person based on 45-50 students and four chaperones PER BUS

                                    $95/person based on 40-44 students and four chaperones PER BUS

                                    $101 /person based on 35-39 students and four chaperones PER BUS

                                    $109 /person based on 30-34 students and four chaperones PER BUS

FEE INCLUDES: Round trip motorcoach transportation between Hamburg and Sandusky; full day admission to Cedar Point; gratuity to the bus driver.

REGISTRATION: To register for this program, please submit your deposit of $25 to Mrs. Morris – Senior Class Advisor – Hamburg HS main office no later than NOVEMBER 26. The balance of payment will be due to her no later than MARCH 29.  All checks should be payable to Hamburg HS.

CANCELLATION: Cancellation up to February 1 will result in a refund of your initial deposit of $25. As of February 2, no monies will be refunded, including the final payment that is due by MARCH 29 Please notify your teacher of any cancellation prior to February 1.  Final payment amount is based on the number of students enrolled for the trip (see above price breakdown) and will be confirmed to your teacher by February 1.
