Thoughts and prayers go out to the family of legendary Hamburg XC coach Jack Foster who recently passed away (Dec 4, 2014) at the age of 85.* Congratulations to Pete Rindfuss medaled at the NY State Championships placing 10th in Class B.* Congratulations to Pete Rindfuss whose 2nd place overall at the Sectional Championship earned him a trip to SUNY Canton to compete in the NY State ChampionshipsCongratulations to the Boys Varsity Team who placed 2nd of 20 schools in Class B at the Section VI Championships and Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Team who also placed 2nd. This is the first time in Hamburg history that both the boys and girls teams have won Sectional AwardsCongratulations to the Boys Varsity Team who placed 7th of 24 schools at the ECIC Championships and 2nd in the division; Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Team also placed 7th overall and 2nd in their division. Both teams end their seasonal division records at 8-2.Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Team who placed 4th of 14 schools at the Eden Red Raider Invitational; Congratulations to the Girls Team who won the Invitational out of a field of 12 schools.Congratulations to the Boys Varsity Team who defeated West Seneca East by a score of 20 to 36; but lost to Sweet Home by a score of 19 to 38. Likewise, the Girls defeated West Seneca East and lost to Sweet.
Both teams end their Regular Divisional season with a record of 4-1.

Special mention to Pete Rindfuss whose time of 17:19.2 places him as the 2nd fastest Hamburg runner for the home course. He surpassed Kyle Pawlaczyk of 1999 and only remains behind former State Champion Joe Whelan of 2007 who has the fastest time at 16:35.1Congratulations to the Boys Varsity who placed 10th of 42 schools at the McQuaid Invitational.
