    Science and Social Studies topics are taught in isolation and they are integrated throughout each week. We are just finishing a challenging Balancing and Weighing unit in science. Ask your children to explain experiments they did using a fulcrum and a beam.

    We will continue to write descriptive paragraphs including a beginning, a middle and an ending. Please encourage your children to use adjectives and adverbs in their writing.  They can include sequence words when recalling an event.  Also, encourage your children to read and write about real life things!



    Please have your children practicing computations whenever possible. The more experiences they have, the better prepared they will be to take on challenges.
