Congratulations to the following students (The Justice League) who will be competing April 26 against 9 other schools: Peyton Buell, Josef Dunlap, Samantha Engel, Catherine Gonzalez, and Missy Kern.

Because Hamburg won the competition against Orchard Park MS and Alden MS in 2017, we will host this school year's competition!  More schools will be participating (Orchard Park, Alden, Maryvale, Lakeshore, Pioneer, North Tonawanda, Grand Island, Akron, and Iroquois), but Hamburg plans to hold on to the Champion trophy! Battle of the Books is a competition between teams of students that have read the same five titles.  Questions are designed to determine who can remember the most detail from the five books. Teams can consist of 3-5 students. Teams will compete in two rounds of questions in April. The final battle against other schools is scheduled for April 26, 2018.
