  • A mighty "thank you" from the UPES Technology Committee!
The UPES Technology Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your participation in the recent Yankee Candle fundraiser.  Thanks to your participation, a significant amount of money was raised that will be used to directly impact your student's education through the purchase of iPads and Chromebooks for classrooms.  Thank you for your continued support of your students and our school!
If you have not yet picked up your candle order, you can find it waiting for you in the Union Auditorium. Just enter through UPES' main entrance, and let the attendant know you're there to get your candles.

  • Stars for Cars available for purchase at UPES
Stars for Cars was started by Jake Gallin after hearing Mrs. Obama speak about Blue and Gold families in January of 2011.  A Blue Star signifies that there is a family member who is serving in the Armed Forces.  A Gold Star signifies that a loved one died while serving our country.
Jake's goal was to have more of the community recognize and honor these families so he created Stars for Cars and sent letters to school principals across NYS asking them to make an announcement honoring those families on certain days.  Stars for Cars now sells White 5 1/2 " magnetic stars to be placed on cars which cost $10 each.  Proceeds from the stars goes to the USO.
The stars say "We support Blue and Gold Military Families" and have a little blue star and a little gold star on them. Please stop in the office if you would like to purchase one.  We can and will order more if there is a desire. Thanks for supporting a great cause!
