email. Union Pleasant Elementary-PTA also has a Facebook page,
providing event information, communication etc.

Parents
will be receiving their PTA membership packet during the first week
of school. In this packet you will find a membership form, volunteer
sheet, and information on upcoming events. Volunteers are always
needed and welcomed! Please join us in making 2010-2011 a great year!

Welcome Back Hot Dog Social
Welcome
Back Hot Dog Social is being held on September 9, 2010 from 5-7pm.
Hot Dogs, snacks & refreshments will be provided courtesy of
HCPTSA-UPES. Come and get to know your teachers and classmates!

Entertainment Book Sale
We
will be doing an Entertainment Book Fundraiser this fall.
Entertainment books and order forms will go home with the children.
Checks will be made payable to HCPTSA. Any unwanted books will be
returned to the school. Details will be in the bag sent home. Thank
you for supporting our programs and events!

Scholastic Book Fair October 18 - 22, 2010

Scholastic book fair will be held Oct 18th
through the 22nd.

Kindergarten Helpers!
|
|
Volunteers
are always needed the first couple of weeks during school for
kindergarteners. Options are: 1.morning buses (lining the
kindergarteners up according to class, then escorting the class to
their rooms 8:00-8:20 range. 2. Lunch room helpers (teaching the
kids the orderly way to get their lunch) various times. Contact
