Hamburg Central's Continuing Education Program offers a wide variety of courses for the community. More than 700 adult students enroll each semester in programs exploring interests ranging from computer training, arts and crafts to nutrition and fitness. Popular courses include aqua aerobics, using the Internet and investment planning.
In the summer, the Continuing Education Program sponsors "Camp Hamburg," an enrichment program for children. This six-week program provides opportunities that include creative writing, art courses and karate for youngsters.
Registration information is published each semester in the district newsletter, the Focus, and can be found in local public libraries in September, January and April. Information regarding Camp Hamburg registration is distributed through elementary schools in the spring.
